BEHIND THE SCENES
I’m an Orlando, Florida photographer specializing in advertising and editorial portraits. I love working in the golf space, but also work with business people, athletes and celebrities. My end goal is for the viewer to connect with the intense expressions from my subjects. I’m adept at working with executive teams on assignments with significant business impact and high confidentiality.
My photography career began at some great publications with amazing photographers: Journal Tribune in Biddeford, Maine, Bangor Daily News in Bangor, Maine and Morning Call newspaper in Allentown, Pennsylvania. I have assisted some world class photographers throughout my career such as Sports Illustrated legend Walter Iooss, Robert Seale, Stephen Szurlej and Martin Schoeller.
I love working with magazines, TV, book publishers, production companies, startups and Fortune 50 companies that inspire and allow me to do what I love to do. Being a golf photographer has taken me to some amazing places, including Jamaica, South Korea, Bahamas, Ireland, Switzerland, Puerto Rico, Canada, France, Mexico, Scotland, England and most of the 50 states. Since 2014, I have been working on a personal night golf course photography project which I hope to turn into a book.
I’m the only golf photographer currently under contract for Golf Channel, Golf Digest, Golf Now and the PGA Tour. Yamaha, Capital One, Mitsubishi, Arnold Palmer Enterprises, Golf Now, Golf Channel Academy, First Tee, KPMG and GMAC are several organizations which have me work on marketing and advertising photography.
I have photographed golf courses used for the Ryder Cup, Open Championship, President’s Cup, US Open, PGA Championship and other high profile tournaments.
A May 2014 Golf Digest cover photo of Paulina Gretzky created a lot of controversy in the golf community and beyond. However, I saw the humor in the situation and decided to call a few friends to spoof the cover. The work quickly went viral and was picked up by USA Today, Washington Post, ESPN, Today Show, NBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, Golf Channel and hundreds more across the globe.
In March 2015, I was thrilled when Brendon Elliot asked me to be on the Little Linksters Association for Junior Golf Development (501c3) advisory board. Brendon runs an amazing program in central Florida for young golfers. Check out their website at www.littlelinksters.com.
In May 2015, My wife Robin and I took over a 10 acre Orlando Horse Boarding facility in east Orlando. Check back, in addition to being a golf photographer, you may see a horse portfolio. In September 2017, we welcomed our son Cygnus to the world.
